WJ Stewart Insurance – Celebrating 30 Years

WJ Stewart Insurance, of Raymond, NH, is celebrating its 30-year anniversary in business, and as a member of SAN Group. Brent Norris, current Agency Principal, joined founder Bill Stewart shortly after opening the agency in 1990. Stewart passed away in 2008, and Brent has proudly kept the agency name and has continued to build its client base primarily through positive word-of-mouth.

The community-based agency has grown responsibly over the years and prides itself on providing outstanding service to its clients. The agency serves residents and businesses throughout Rockingham County, and is made up of five employees: Brent, his son Connor, Michelle Dennis, Helen Mills, and Jerry Zimmel.

Brent & Tracey Norris

Brent and his wife, Tracey, have volunteered with Shriners of NH for seven years, and Norris was recently elected Potentate (President) of Shriners of NH for the 2020 year. Shriners of NH supports Shriners International Hospitals for Children, focusing primarily on hospitals located in Montreal, Boston, and Springfield, Massachusetts.

As her first official act as “First Lady”, Brent’s wife Tracey has selected the Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp in Connecticut as the 2020 First Lady’s Project. Tracey and Brent are seeking to continue the Shriners of NH support of the volunteer-led summer program for burn victims after a successful fund-raising effort last year raised $10,000 – enough to send four children to the summer camp located in Milford, Connecticut. Tracey and Brent hope to meet or beat that number this year with the help of matching corporate donations.

The Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp is a safe, natural outdoor environment for kids ages 8 to 18 from around the world who have survived life-altering burn injuries. At the camp, leaders encourage camaraderie coupled with physical and social activities designed to help campers overcome anxieties, develop and enhance their physical skills, and allow them to move beyond their scarring and burn injuries.

The Norrises have set a goal to match up to $5,000 from corporate donations to send burn victims to the camp, “so the kids can be kids again.” If you’d like to contribute to this Shriners of NH project, visit bektashshriners.org, click Donate Now!, and designate your donation to “LADIES PROJECT”, or mail your check to:

“This fundraiser is 100% about raising money for the unfortunate children that have suffered burns and can attend a camp with other children and be kids again. I know there are many other SAN agents that may help with this cause. I have raised matching funds up to $5,000, every little bit helps.”
